pros:
- vast resolution for the price
- very vivid - I can project onto a wall legal next to a gigantic window on a sunny day, and it's unruffled visible when on fat power
- very smooth on the "gross" power mode, which is unruffled very shimmering (its what I almost always consume)
- easy to utilize menu and remote
- focus works over a mammoth range of projection distances
- LCD means no 'rainbow' execute, grand to DLP projection
Just the one, critical con:
while it is in principle compatible with 480p, 720p, 1080i,
it doesn't have the required plugs at the assist (component video)
Epson sells an adaptor cable for ~$100, so that you can connect a HDTV or EDTV (480p) input through a VGA saunter (what you'd normally exercise for a computer), but this adaptor is objective point-to-point wiring, you can engage one elsewhere for very cheap: you need a
"HD15 (VGA) Male to RCA x 3 Female" adaptor
Don't pay more than $10
If it came with that adaptor, or the legal plugs, the projector would certainly receive 5 stars.
This projector offers very capable performance, trim easy set-up and an easy to carry package. There are all the inputs you could want, except for HD video displays. The USB port expose is reliable only for peaceful pictures; using it for video will induce your audience to either sail or give up watching. Consume the VGA or S-video inputs for video.
There is no S-video cable provided, a minor challenge.
It was up and operating 30 seconds after the box was unpacked.
The cloth carry bag is handy, but I would remove fair a bit more padding.
So far everything is working colossal. All the features and rapid commence guide helped me to be up and running with my projector very like a flash. This Epson comes with a ample warranty and service.
